Meet The Founder
Stephanie George-Cistrunk, a Lake Charles native, is a trailblazing educator and community leader. A graduate of Washington Marion Magnet High School and Sowela Technical College, she made history as the first African American Computer Helpdesk Analyst at Unibill Technology Center. She later earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Educational Leadership from McNeese State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.85 GPA.
With over 18 years in education, Stephanie has taught across various institutions and founded Elite Tutoring Center in 2012, helping hundreds of students regain academic confidence. In 2024, she launched Elite Christian Homeschooling Academy to provide individualized, faith-based instruction.
A devoted member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, she’s active in the Women’s Outreach Ministry and serves as President of the Beta Kappa Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She also founded the first Student Council at Southwest Louisiana Charter Academy.
Stephanie is married to Williams Cistrunk and cherishes her two sons and four grandsons.

Bridgette is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business with an Accounting concentration, as well as an Associate of Arts in Accounting. She is a dedicated, hardworking, and resourceful professional. Under her leadership, Elite has achieved significant success, greatly benefiting from her strategic eye for detail. Bridgette's ability to inspire and motivate the team exemplifies her exceptional management skills.

Her life shows us all that with passion, perseverance, and a generous heart, we can overcome obstacles and inspire greatness in others. Bridgette stands as a living testament to the extraordinary things we can achieve when we relentlessly pursue our dreams and uplift those around us.

Meet Mr. Elijah Mormon, a shining example of academic excellence and athletic achievement. With a mathematics degree and engineering concentration from Louisiana Christian University, he's a master problem solver. As a linebacker, he strategically tackled opponents, and now, he's tackling his master's degree in civil engineering at McNeese State University. His students adore him, and it's easy to see why - he makes math engaging and fun. Mr. Mormon is an inspiring role model for young black boys and students everywhere, proving that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.

Say Hello to Dianne Bertrand, certified Elementary Teacher and an Alumni of McNeese State University. She holds a master’s in education and a bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in sociology. She is a high school Special Education teacher with years of experience. She believes all students should have equal opportunity to their individual successes. She is employed at Elite Tutoring Center and serves students in grades K-8. She is a dynamic educator and has been a part of our team for 2 years. She is a blessing to everyone she encounters and the parents love her.
